I knew there was 958 green marbles so I did 958 - 439= 519 and that is how I got my answer.

then I take away 4 from the 5 and added 1 to the 8 and that how it makes 519
I knew that Tim had 958 green marbles and Melanie took 439

558-9=549
549-30=519.
first I know that I have to takeaway 439 so I did 958 - 439= 519
