  8. The problem that i am going to do is
    1/6 of 24 = 4
so there are 6 groups and 6 in each
    6 x 4 = 24
    and then 24 - 4 = 20

  18. 1/6 of 24 kids so I have done 3 different ways to work it out. But then I have found out that there was 4 girls and 20 boys.
    6 x 4 = 24
    24 - 4 = 20
    23 + 1 = 24

  19. 1/6 of 24 = 4
    6×4 = 24
    24 ÷ 6 = 4
    4+4+4+4+4+4=24
so you take away the girls and how many boys there are is
    24 - 4 =20
