Procedural Writing

In Room 10 we have been learning about Procedural Writing. Procedural Writing is about giving instructions. Here is a piece of procedural writing and a video that Nyree and Kerstein wrote about How to make an Origami Cup.

My literacy class are learning how to do procedural writing. Now we know how to do procedural writing. Here are the instructions to make a paper cup. It took me 30 sec to do it.

Mutton Birding

This week the Kauri have been reading a book about Muttonbirding. They did some research to find out how you get mutton birding rights and then predicted what would happen overtime with mutton birding. Here is Lorenzo's post.

In reading my reading group have been reading a book called on the island. it is about a family going mutton birding and only Maori people can hunt them you can stay for two months but you are only aloud to hunt five mutton birds.

For our reading activity we had to do what its like in 200 years in the past present and the future and imagine what we had to use.
